Meet the Team
Matt Ott – President and CEO
Matt is currently the president and owner of Pension and Retirement Services, LLC. Prior to acquiring PARS Matt spent the last 20 years of his career in the securities industry consulting with companies in the Midwest around how to best design and implement their company sponsored retirement plan. He also has experience in personal financial planning and helping families realize that goal of retiring on their own terms.
He obtained his bachelor’s degree from the University of Missouri Columbia in Personal Finance and his Master’s In Business Administration from the University of Phoenix. He holds his Series 7 securities license, his Series 66 license, and the Accredited Investment Fiduciary designation (AIF).
In his free time Matt enjoys spending time with his wife and two girls. He also enjoys playing golf, waterfowl hunting and traveling with his family and friends. He is also a big Kansas City sports fan and still follows the Royals and Chiefs.
Karin Leith – Senior Client Associate
Karin has been with Pension and Retirement Services and ELK Advisory Group (formerly PARS Financial Services) since 2012. She has been working with employee benefits for over 20 years and specializing in retirement plans for more than 10 years. Karin has a BS in Business Management and holds the Qualified 401(k) Administrator (QKA) designation with the American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries. She is also credentialed by the American College as a Registered Health Underwriter (RHU). Karin maintains life and health insurance licenses and securities licenses 6 and 63. Karin is married to Brian, with fur-babies Stella (dog) and Bailey (cat), and loves to read, foster dogs, and work on home renovation projects in her spare time.
Susan Jones – Client Associate
Susan Jones has worked at Pension and Retirement Services, LLC/Elk Advisory Group for 3 years. She is a Third-Party Administrator and handles 401(k) Withdrawals, Distribution and Loan Refinance needs along with other related retirement administrative needs. Susan has a BS in Health Education and an Associate’s Degree in Business Administration.
She loves anything to do with art, interior decorating, flower gardening, bird watching, spending time at home, rescuing animals in need and spending time with her family and her 4 spoiled cats.
